I'd like to give something to my professor since I am graduating soon. His office is filled with gift items from previous students from all over the world. I'd like to give him something unique. Any suggestions? What can I give him that he already doesnt have?
What is a a good gift for a university professor?
Well, what's your budget and what subject was it? No matter what, the best gift you can give to a professor is to write a letter explaining how much you learned from them and what an influence they had over your time at school. Professors remember--and appreciate--those things even more than gifts.
Reply:bowchica wow wow. Oh yeah!
Reply:Hello. Well, how about a huge Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary... OR a CD-ROM encyclopedia?? I'm sorry... I'm in a silly mood tonight. Maybe it's my dinner affecting me. Okay.. seriously now: How about gift certificates for a really fine restaurant, one he would not buy for himself potentially? I saw this site online for gifts for professors... here it is: http://www.cafepress.com/buy/professor/?... Good luck.
Reply:An interesting book and/or an awesome pen--preferably red ink!
Reply:Maybe a nice book.
