I want to start an independent party plan craft business and need to know the standard incentive/gift schemes?

I would like to know what seems to be the standard sort of incentive/gift scheme given by party plan businesses to the hos/hostess of the party? Is it a free gift to a certain value or a certain percentage off of purchases?

www.sellingpower.com has so many incentive/gift programs I could never mention them all here. I use them for my sales competitions in my business where we handle business loans, equipment leasing, and credit card processing which ever salesperson brings in the most "good" deals in a month has their choice of anything from concert tickets to frozen steaks delivered to their home!
Reply:It can be either.

Contact Avon,Tupperware,Lingerie Home Party Plan companies %26amp; they will volantarily give you incentive scheme over the phone

Ask as if you are interested in being a hostess.

Reply:I am a Mary Kay consultant. What I do is a little different then other consultants. I give the hostess $10 for every guest that shows up. I saw flaws in the % of class sales to the recruit. It was not her fault if noone bought product. She got them there! I also offer a booking gift if 1 or more people book. Mary Kay has a hostess Vanity mirror, and a Travel Purse. So, I give her a choice. I also present her a gift (under $20) when the party starts, for having the show. Usually a lotion, or make-up product.
