Is there a way to earn free gift certificates to restaurants?

I see adds on the internet often for gift certificates but you always have to sign up for several special offers before you can get anything. And who’s to say that you will actually get it when you sign up.

I use mypoints.com. Now you generally get 5 points for each email that you read. To confirm that you read it you have to click on a link and it takes you to the sight that has the offer. If you want to take this offer then you continue, if not then you close that window once the site has built. There are also surveys too that you can earn more points if you qualify. Sometime I will get about 10 emails a day and you figure that is about 50 points each day for doing pretty much nothing. I really do not respond to the offers unless they are absolutely free and well one year I had gotten so many amazon online certificates that it paid for my entire xmas. Now understand this was having two active accounts one for me and one for my hubby. I have also redeemed points for gas cards, Marriott Rewards points and they have restuarant gift ceificates too. Right now I am working of either gas cards or restuarant certificates for a trip to Orlando next year. If you decide to do this I can send you the link to start earning. Good Luck....
Reply:my points.....I get points for reading emails...for purchasing things online I would buy anyway and you can apply for their credit card and earn points for purchases...my husband and I use the gift cards earned for dinners out:)
Reply:no only if you complain
Reply:Those internet "free restaurant coupons" are not real. If you go to Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Chili's, Applebee's, etc. website they all have a popup or link explaining that it's a fraud. But if you have a question, check out their website.
Reply:All I know is to ask for gift certificates for birthdays or holidays.
