What to gift your friend who is 8 months pregnant?

My friend is 8 month pregnant and will deliver sometime in Mid June. Everytime I meet her I carry some gift for her say like books, chocolates etc. But I want to give her sometime different now, i read somewhere comfortable flip flops are a good thing to give. Any more suggestions....?

What to gift your friend who is 8 months pregnant?
Wash her dishes, mop her floors, vacuum for her, clean her bathrooms. She doesn't feel like doing any of those things. Believe me, she'll always remember you for helping her out when she needs it the most.
Reply:First, let me just say that I think it's wonderful that you are giving your friend gifts. Often the focus is only on the baby and people thus give gifts only for the baby and forget the mom-to-be. I would give your friend something to help her feel good about herself and her body. I suggest body lotion, bath gel, something the smells good. Or, how about some nice tea? You are a great friend!
Reply:I would say get her small gifts for the baby unless she already has a ton of stuff. You could take her out to a nice lunch or dinner with virgin cocktails or something.

Comfy flip flops is also a very good idea as her feet are probably aching! I would check out Old Navy, they have alot of different cute flip flops for cheap!
Reply:What about some lovely smelling talcum powder, light perfume, fresh smelling body wash - or other good quality and fragrant personal products.
Reply:It depends on a few things...are you wanting to buy something for her to use now or something for her after the baby is born?

If you are wanting to get her something to use now, you should get her one of those fetal heart monitors that you can get for less than $20 at Wal-Mart (if she doesn't already have one.) She can use it to hear the baby's heartbeat anytime she wants to, plus she'll hear it moving around or when it has the hiccups. Plus, it comes with something or another that allows her to record all of those sounds and she can even email them to people if she wants to! I'm going to get my daughter one of these in the next month or so; I think it's a great, fun gift idea that won't break the bank.

Or, give her a gift card for a good restaurant so she can enjoy a nice dinner out w/her husband or boyfriend, or whoever, before the baby comes...and it'll be your treat!

You sound like a thoughtful friend...she's lucky to have you. ;-)
Reply:Bath stuff for her, a good night out for coffee on you
Reply:That is so sweet of you. You seem like a good friend.

If you want to get her something nice, get her stuff that the baby could use when he or she is born. Perhaps some things that you would maybe give at a baby shower. Baby clothes, baby books, baby toys or maybe you can treat her to get her nails and hair done so she feels pampered. She's 8 months pregnant so let me assure you that she's not feeling too pretty. Something to boost her self image and self esteem would be nice. It all depends on how much money you have or how much money you're willing to spend on her. What about a gift certificate? or something personalized. You should check out: http://www.cafepress.com and get her something from there. Find out what she likes and than go from there. I hope this helps. Good luck!
Reply:Advil, her back is probably killing her
Reply:Some contraception! (Boom tish)...but seriously, check out:
