What items should it put in a gift bag to promote my mortgage business that will spark interest in my service?

There is a women's luncheon coming up and I want to do something to get my phones ringing. I thought about making up flyers or giving out my newsletter. I even thought about offering gift cards that could be activated once they sent me a referral or want to do business with me. I just don't want to appear desperate.

What items should it put in a gift bag to promote my mortgage business that will spark interest in my service?
frig magnets, anything personalized having to do with hygeine ie: nail clippers, tooth brushes, etc. people love that stuff and see your name everytime they use it
Reply:How about this....if a potential customer is looking to refinance then a small gift bag with little replicas suggesting what they could use the extra cash for....like a tiny replica of an ocean liner for a cruise or a tiny diploma to help pay for a child's college education, and a dollar bill to represent the extra cash they will save for refinancing at a lower interest rate and of course a cute little card explaining it all...and your business card...it's like a gift for all the ladies....perhaps even a gift card to a local spa for some pampering if they choose to work with you....good luck!

Reply:If someone gives me a big strong magnet (not the usual crummy business card style, a useful one) it goes on my refrigerator and stays there until the end of time. Those businesses are the ones I call and recommend because I know where the phone number is.
