We had a gift exchange tonight, with the price ranging b/w $5 and $15. I bought a $10 gift certificate to Wal-Mart to give. Guess what I recieved? A small used box of pens with the pens inside only1/8-1/2 of the way full. I am a little irked b/c i spent $10 on a gift and received something so thoughtless.
What is the worst gift you have received in a gift exchange?
A plastic mitten dryer that goes over floor heating vents. Took me a while to figure out what it was and since I have no floor heating vents or 4 pairs of mitts to put on it, I found it pretty useless. Of course, the fact that I saw it on sale at the Bargain Shop for .99 cents didn't make it any better. My dog ended up using it as a chew toy.
