What is the proper gift giving etiquette for a 1 year anniversary?

I have been with my g/f for 1 year and was wanting to give the right gift. Can anyone help?

What is the proper gift giving etiquette for a 1 year anniversary?
Paper is gift for one year. I have a friend who made her husband a page-a-day calendar. Each day was a different reason she loves him. Of course if you can't think of 365 reasons, try doing a monthly calenar (just 12 reasons) and perhaps add pictures of your life togethe over the past year.

Reply:That is so sweet. It is really hard to tell when I have no idea of your age, and financial well being (are you 16 or 28... with a good job). However, a nice evening out, a card and roses would be splendid and meaningful. Look for intamate restaurants... and don't skip desert.
