What would be a good gift for my daughters teacher?

I know she loves to read but I don't really know what kinds of books. I thought about a gift certificate but I know books are expensive. I hoped to spend between 15 - 20 dollars but don't want to look cheap. Anyone have any ideas?

What would be a good gift for my daughters teacher?
You should get a Barnes and Nobles gift card. You won't look cheap... $20 can buy a book.
Reply:Nice's candles, accents, little Angels, chocolate, books on Sylvia Browne, relaxation c.d. home made pie, home made cookies,or go to the dollars store and buy a little basket and put in it little things of one dollars that really look nice,i did that a couples of time then the teacher send a very thank full,Christmas card and that she appreciated.
Reply:15 and 20 bucks sounds like a lot to me! (but I'm in grad school now, so I couldn't afford that.)
Reply:I'm a teacher and if someone handed me a $15 amazon or barnes and noble gift card I would be very happy. We dont exaclt et paid huge amounts so we'll take anything we can get. Please no kitschy little apple ornaments though!
Reply:Some love balls should go down well.
Reply:They aren't very expensive, but I always liked getting coffee mugs. You can always put something extra in them if you want to give more. I still remember each student that gave one when I use them.
Reply:Definitely definitely a Barnes and Noble gift certificate! She'll love it! And if she doesn't, she'll give it to someone who does - and she'll think the world of you!
Reply:I am a teacher, HS. Some parents have given me little plants (like indoor ones) I can keep in my class room. $5 or 10 gift certificate to Paneras- local coffee shops...Home baked cookies...Photo frames...Candles

We don't expect much..We love teaching...
Reply:Well donuts with a good and latest romance novel by a best selling author always worked with me
Reply:Get her a really nice gift bag and then put lots of dog poop in it. Teachers Love It.
