What would make a good gift for a friend suffering from Chemotherapy-induced Peripheral Neuropathy?

This person is experiencing tremendous pain in her hands and feet. The gift could also simply help her deal with her cancer situation. She's at stage 4 and things aren't looking good.

What would make a good gift for a friend suffering from Chemotherapy-induced Peripheral Neuropathy?
give her a card...

_and I think flowers also will work!!!

__good luck!!!
Reply:An automatic jar opener so she won't have to fight with jars. Some really soft houseshoes with memory foam in the bottom. And your love, support, and prayers.
Reply:She needs a good neurologist and pain meds for one thing. Any support you can give her is helpful. A card with a gift card for Krogers (groceries) if finances are tight is nice. Flowers and a card are always nice. Offering to help her with day to day chores like housework, cooking, laundry, etc might be helpful. Soft, bland, cool or lukewarm protein foods are gentle to the throat and gastric tract with chemo. I liked cold hard boiled eggs (bland and high in protein). As long as it is ok with her doctor (liver or kidney cancer victims might need to limit protein). Arby's or White castles are bland and good protein sources. Popsicles might be nice and soothing.
Reply:Pictures of friends, things she loves. Magazines with some soothing ice cream. It's a comfort food and magazines to keep her mind busy. As far as pictures, you can take digital pics and get them developed quickly at Wal-mart or Walgreens. A CD made of all her favorite songs. I know this sounds silly, but how about a view master with alot of reels to look at? Blessing to your friend.
Reply:give sumthin from the heart like sumthin they gave u before but make smthin dats da relationship betwwen u and dat person
Reply:A voucher for some visits to a Homeopath.
Reply:See if she would be interested in a massage and if the doctor is okay with this. I loved that when someone gave it to me.
Reply:As someone who has had and is still suffering from peripheral neuropathy, I found massaging of hands, feet and limbs was extremely relaxing. It is very difficult to get any sort of relief from this condition, so a massage would be a great recommendation.

You may therefore like to give her a voucher for some remedial massages.
Reply:Try getting her a slideshow gift, somethingshe can watch of her friends and family http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...
Reply:a note book so she can write it all down that will come in handy
